M&B Jewelry specializes in the development, implementation
and execution of sales and merchandising programs for sales
of higher value “carat/karat goods” through conventional and
“alternative” retail channels.
PURPOSE
M&B’s purpose is to service conventional jewelry retailers
and to introduce retailers that would not ordinarily be
thought of as jeweler retailers, to the concepts and
benefits of offering higher-end jewelry as part of their
offering.
GOALS
We will maintain and grow our position as the prominent
jewelry supplier to alternative retail channels. In the
process, we will increase sales revenue by 50% over the next
two years and will attain a five year sales level equal to
three times our current turnover rate.
STRATEGY
M&B will take the strategies and successes already achieved
in the conventional jewelry retail and rent-to-own channels
and transfer our process into additional retail channels
that have not previously offered “fine jewelry”. Targeted
channels include credit finance stores, check cashing and
“check-to-cash” factors, the internet, and conventional gift
shops.
Product offering (updated, fashionable and affordable) is
important, but M&B’s experiences in store merchandising and
retail sales personnel training are both unique and key to
retailer success. To that end, it will be our strategy to
produce fresh marketing materials and up-to-date training
aids. We will continue to employ and deploy a sales force
that is trained and conversant in alternative jewelry sales.
And we will continue to be active vendor participants in the
channels that we service.
We will strive to build strong vendor relationships --
relationships based on timely service rewarded by our
attention to prompt and timely payment of invoices.
Acquisitions will be continually considered and analyzed.
Primary factors that will be considered include production
location and capabilities, line extension possibilities and
existing customer base.
